PARANÁ AQUARIUM
CORRIENTES, ARGENTINA
PROJECT
This aquarium is much more than a building. It is an holistic park, comprehending the whole natural history of the local environment, integrating botany and original etnias. The aquarium tanks have been grouped inside a half buried building, leaving the maximum space for an open interpretive experience dedicated to the Esteros del Ibera ecosystem.
Each exhibit has a very unique size, with great variety of forms, to avoid the traditional “museum fatigue”, so common in aquarium projects.
